In all honesty, I'm just a guy... I'm a guy who's figuring out what my new reality is and what it means for me and my daughters. I grew up in a small Northern Ontario mill town named Kapuskasing, and I get nostalgic every time I go back! I love my girls, I love hockey.

I decided to start this blog because there isn't much out there from a single dad's perspective. I want this blog to be for ordinary guys that happen to be in the same situation and if at the same time some out-dated gender roles get taken down then so be it! You can definitely expect to see first-hand accounts from myself as I navigate through the perilous world of a marital breakdown, but also lots of content about stuff that helps me get through it such as DIY and cooking really good food! I might throw in 5 cents worth of health & wellness. What you won't see here is expert advise, you came to the wrong place! Also, don't expect any juicy or gossipy stuff either... that's not what this is about!
